This just makes dollars AND sense for the band. PLEASE send PayPal payments as a Friends & Family payment. We will NOT reimburse fees next year.
Attention: PayPal payers PayPal has modified their methods of paying different types of entities. Some of you have discovered this already. If you send money to the band through PayPal, please send the payment as a "Friends & Family". This will allow the band to received your full payment without any deductions for their service fee, which is about 3%. Based on payments received so far just this year through PayPal, we would retain an additional $350-$400 per year. You need to tie a string around your finger or circle the date because Monday will be too early and Wednesday will be too late. It's time for a good old fashioned band parent meeting. I have made reservations for The Old Spaghetti Factory on February 9th for the band and parents. We will go to the Bristol on February 10th for the Jazz Band. The original plan was to take the Jazz Band to Hard Rock Café but the extra expense wasn't worth it.
Here is the breakdown: FEBRUARY 9TH STUDENTS $20.00 - This includes the bus and lunch at The Old Spaghetti Factory PARENTS $14.00 - This is for lunch (this is limited to the first 40 people that send in money) Lunch includes spaghetti with Marinara, Balsamic Vinaigrette for your salad, choice of a beverage, and Spumoni. FEBRUARY 10TH STUDENTS $24.50 - This includes the bus and lunch at The Bristol PARENTS $18.00 - This is for lunch (this is limited to the first 20 people that send in money) Lunch will be buffet style in our own banquet room with your choice of an entrée, salad, 2 sides, dessert, and your choice of soft drink.
